This month in our Ministry I have been able to experience community in a whole new way. Observation. I know you were expecting me to say something different, especially with how much the Worldrace lives and thrives off community, living in it, not observing it. But this month, I have gotten the unique opportunity to yes, live in community but also observe it. The  sweet community of the Cambodian young adults. The church we are going to this month is about 25 people and most are aprox. 23 years old. Most travel about an hour to get to church on Sunday. They arrive Saturday night play soccer together and sleep at the church. then Sunday they have lunch together , have English class and bible study, then eat dinner together then all go home Sunday  night so they can be ready for work on Monday. Most of them work at a factory outside the city. The first Sunday we got there, the biggest emphasis they communicated with us was that they were all just like family. Most, if not all are newer believers and don’t come from a christian families, so watching them do life and community together was so sweet. I learned so much and was so blessed by their joy and love for each other and for Christ. They excitedly talk about Jesus so much and and their fervent prayers and praises fill the little church to the rooftops.  they may not have much by american standards, but they give so much love and joy wherever they go and to everyone, whether you are a tiny child in the slums of cambodia or the homeless looking american, they will love you and tell you about how much they love Jesus. I strive to be like them.
