The pastor, his wife and the children truly have no worries, fears or anxieties because they cast them all on Jesus. They are completely submerged in God’s will and because of that He supplies they with everything they need and more. Their lives are just filled with so much JOY because they are not held down by things that are out of their control. Isn’t this how God has called us all to live? Obviously the answer to that question is yes but for some reason the majority of us never really give God the credit that He deserves as creator and sustainer of the entire universe.
Seeing how this family lives could not have come at a better time because I am still in need of quite a bit of support in order to finish out this journey that God has brought me on and what I have realized is that God will be my supplier. I may not know where the money will come from but it is not up to me to worry about it because it is God’s bill to pay and He knows exactly what I need. As I give over my worries and fears to Him everything becomes less about me and my focus shifts to God.
Presents from God are the best because they are ALWAYS exactly what we need (with the added bonus of perfect timing). This would be a good time to tell you that the other gift God gave me this month is the privilege to teach future American citizens English…meaning teaching them to speak and interact the way American teenagers/children do. Yup…all I have to say is God is good.
