Well…after about 17 hours of travel we made it to San Salvador, El Salvador…and all I have to say is I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!!!
God has truly been speaking to me and telling me He is going to bring a ton of joy into my life this month and I am so excited to see how that unfolds. The primary ministry we will be working with is Teen Challenge, which is a home for former men that were living a life full of darkness but are finding the light of the Lord day by day in this place. Our contact here, Oscar, is absolutely an amazing blessing from God. He is hilarious and is filled with so much joy and I am really looking forward to getting to know him and his wife Jackie better.
Our first day of ministry starts tomorrow…we will be participating in two church services–telling our testimonies, singing worship songs, doing a drama and whatever else the Lord may have for us.
God is doing some amazing things in this beautiful country. I am so thankful that I get to be apart of bringing His Kingdom to El Salvador.
God is majestic.
Psalm 139:14 says,
“For you created my inmost being, you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
This is a truth that God has been bringing to light in my life lately…and that truth is that the Lord knows me and loves me intimately. He has known my heart since before I was born and now my heart is continuing to grow in Him while I am on The World Race.
