Honestly, I haven’t blogged much because I felt like I had nothing worthy to blog about. But God has recently convicted me that I have plenty to say about what I am seeing in the world and what He is doing in my life. So, here I go. Get ready to take part with me in praising God for all that He does.

We are in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and this city is full of confusion and darkness. The main religion of this country is Islam and it is different here. With a huge city full of mosques and head coverings I can’t help but stand on the street and take it all in. One thing I noticed the most is the frustration and uncertainty on the faces of the people. It is heart breaking…because the truth of the one true God is missing from their lives. They don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus; they don’t know what true love is, instead, they follow a religion that is full of rituals and legalism.

Up until now I have been sitting back, watching all of this, being selectively bold in who I shared the gospel with…but not anymore. After reading Matthew 9 I realized that Jesus was calling me to something more in ministry. If I truly wanted to look more like Him, I had better start doing ministry like He did. Jesus took every opportunity He could to heal the sick, raise the dead, hang out with the lonely and oppressed, even if that meant He would get persecuted or laughed at. To Jesus, finding one lost sheep was worth leaving the other ninety-nine on the hill. Jesus had a particular courageous boldness about Him that I desire to obtain and I won’t stop until I get there. I’m not wasting time anymore; the fire has been lit and it is raging.
