Hello Everyone! My name is David Smits. I’m 25 years old, from the great state of Wisconsin, and am set to launch for the world race in October 2019. I’m excited! I’ve grown up on my familys dairy farm and have built my career within the farm. I really enjoy life on the farm, but I’m also looking forward to saying yes to the Lord and letting Him lead me through whatever He has in store for me throughout the race! I come from a loving Christian family with 3 sisters and lots of fun loving cousins. I’m very thankful for them all. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, boating, riding motorcycle, hunting, hanging out with friends, and attending bible studies or other volunteering opportunities.
