Sorry, my last post was so short… the computers here run on a timer and my whole team was trying to blog, so i ran out of time. We arrived on the 4th at Santo Domingo Airport, then drove 4 hours to our current location…. San Juan. Everything has been very good. It´s like 85 degrees everyday, and we are by the mountains. The food is a lot better that I expected ( seasoning wise, and the bean aren´t bad!), and the people are very fiendly and welcoming, but there is a since of perversion around the country. Boys already hitting on girls at the age of 8, which is kinda sad to see. A kind of emptyness among them…
everyone pretty musch rides a motercycle, which is cool to see and they are interested in learning english. So communicating isn´t too awekward.
This first week is a week of training so there is not much to say about being in the fiels but God is showing up in our squad. We are learning how to survive on this trip as a team and individuals. There is a lot that you have to leave behind to, to live for God with an abandonmen. AnywaysI do know that my team and team Gentile Warriors are going to a town 2 hours away, and this will be our missions spot for the month. I will post about it more when I find out more. Just be praying for my squad and my team.
