As I sit and wait for our bus to take us from Bangkok to Chiang mai, I begin to think about my day and pray. About the time that I was getting ready to take a nap I noticed a prostitute and here customer out side of the 7-11 on my left. She looked about 30, and was dress like she was about 13… She was just standing there like she was waiting for somthing, while her customer procedeed to grab her butt in the middle of the buss station for everyone to see. I was pretty disturbed by the picture in front of me, and in the middle of processing all of this, I notice what she was waiting for… It was her children. They were inside the store getting drinks that the man paid for. This was the picture I saw before me for a good 30 minutes, and while wondering what this womans story was, to take her two kids to “work” with her, I noticed the picture to my right. It is a young monther probably about 23, with her 4yr old daughter asleep in her arms. The question came to my mind. How does a woman go from being the little girl in her mother’s arms, to taking her kids with her to prostitute for the future of her family?
