So, last month while Dave and I were in Bangkok those extra days, waiting for our sisters to arrive from there adventures in Miami hospital God spoke to me a lot. The night that the girls arrived, we stayed up late hearing their stories and encouraging them, then at about 4 a.m we decided we need some rest, but God had a little different plan. After praying for a while, I felt like I needed to just write, so I took my sweet Iron man note book that I got in the DR and went out into the mosquito infested hall, and just listened… The things listed below are the things that I wrote, and I read them to my team for the first time the other day and they convinced me to make it a post, so here it goes.
Things I want:
- I want to be an encouragement
- I want to be a mouth piece of God for this squad and team.
- I want Gods will more than my own
- I don’t want to feel like the young punk, being ignored by others.
- I want to find true love in You first
- I want to speak with the authority of God
- I want to be holy, righteous, and humble
- I want to be trusted and to be able to trust
- I want to be lead by the Spirit
- I want spiritual eyes to see the things of God
- I want Faith
- I want a broken heart
- I want a renewed mind
- I want to walk in your wisdom
- If you have called me to lead , than I want to be lead by your leadership
- If you have called me to council then show me how to council. council me so I can council others
- If you have called me to speak than teach me to listen
- I want to give you praise always
- I want selflessness
- I want to know my value in you
At this point I paused and the Lord was saying there is one more thing….
I want you to bring me your best.
