So pretty much everyday in Azua we teach English and Sports and these are some of the local kids that come to have fub ad learn.

( That is LEELEE for all you non spanish speakers), and she makes me
miss my dog PATCH so much! It is wierd to actually see a pet dog here
because most of them are just wild/strays. I am trying to teach her to
sit in spanish, but most of the time i just get laughed at…

This is Pastor Raul teaching Volleyball…
This is one of the guys from the church, that was helping us remodel a home in Buenos Ares, so that they could start using it for smallgroups. Well as we are working a bee lands on a piece of wood next to him and he just slaps it with the palm of his hand… Then he proceeded to look and laugh at it while it was trying to sting him. Thus he recieved a spot on my blog for adding another reason to come to the DR again.
This past saturday we lead a leadersip retreat for the church, and we
were told that we would be going to a farm about 30 minutes away. We
had about 32 people and 1 SUV and 1 Truck…. You do the math. Well
farms obviously are not the same here as they are in Texas, because
this place was amazing! We were up in the mountains just spending time
with the Lord.

guys were cutting this palm down while we were praying and this thing
was massive… Appearantly the middle white part is eadible.

and I spoke, Tonya spoke on out Idenity in Christ and I spoke on Gods
character. They went really well together and I think that the Leaders
got a lot out of it.

at the end of the day, as a group we prayed over each individual leader
one at a time. It was so cool to see God move through that time of
prayer. There was so many words of encouragement, and prophacy spoken
over these people. I think almost everone had a word specifically for
them. The last person to be prayed over was my brother Joel, pictured
to the left of this paragraph. While we were praying for Joel the Lord
just began to rip my heart open for him and I began to speak in spirit
very loud, and began to weap for him. Now this was only the second time
this has happend to me so I really dont know what to say about it but
all i can say is the Lord is good. He has become like my brother in
this country and I know that the Lord has big thing s for the people of
Azua, incliding Joel.
