So yesterday the 3rd all of the squad went on a safari. We left the house at 5.00 A.M… Bright and early to see all the wildlife. Our jeep was call the “Bru Crew” , because our drivers name was Bru (we aren’t sure but we think it was short for bruce…maybe..). It was a blast! after it was all said and done, Bru said that it was the best safari that he has done all year, and that normally people dont get to see everythin that we did.
Dave, Me,and Zach were the back row, and I do have to say that we are pretty hilarious… anyways, one special unexpected addition to our trip was when we were cruising down the dirt trail, and a bird flew into the vehicle into zach’s face. ps this photo was taken at about 5.30 in the morning, hence the lack of expression in dave and zach, and my fear.

The elephant is one of the Big Five, which are like the top 5 animals to “try” and see while on a safari. Try because most of the time you will only see 2 or 3.

The Lion is 2nd on our Big 5 spottings. The 1st pic, was in the morning and he was just chillin by the road, and the second picture is later in the day when we came across a pride of 10.

The wild Buffalo makes our 3rd on the list.

The Hippo … Dave spotted this one, and it was a lucky find, because they were pretty far off.

The Rhino was the 4th on the list .. Lucky to see one with her pup.

The Lepord was the 5th and last of the Big 5, and we barely caught it before it went into the bush.

This was awesome! We saw it early in the morning.

These Birds were everywhere, and when they were in the sun they almost had a metalic shine.

The was spent with good people, with cool animals, in God’s creation…. It was a great day.
