About me? Simple; I can sum it up in one word: Christ.
My name is David Weide and I am a believer, follower, passionate bondslave of our Lord Jesus Christ. With my recent passion and urge to profess my great love to the Lord I find myself with eyes wide open. Open to His beauty and His grace. As much as I want to make this section about me, I want you to know it isn't about me, or you, or any of us. It is simply about Christ! With that being said lets dive deeper into the person that is myself!
Born in a little town of Ironwood Michigan I am the oldest of three children. With my two lovely sister Nicole and Stephanie we are all shared with love by my parents Don and Lisa. Growing up we moved a few times not too many and finally settled down in a backwoods town of Ontonagon where I graduated high school in 2005. A few years later the family packed up one more time and shifted all the way across the states to Arizona where I am currently rooted and where my family is growing year by year!
As an individual I find myself thinking that I am humble with a down to earth personality and easy going in any situation; above all a strong passion for life and our Lord. I find that my smile is contagious and my personality is energetic. Not a grey cloud in my sky; no sir. Constantly learning and growing in all aspects of my life I find myself spinning in circles not knowing which direction I am being led in. One thing is certain; I know I am being called to serve the Lord in major ways and here I am accepted to The World Race and couldn't be more ecstatic!
An "about me" wouldn't be "about" me unless I rattled off a list of random facts for you to know!
First thing you'll notice about me is I am tall….6'5" to be exact!
I like to think of myself as a casual wordsmith with a twist for every day life!
I am a very recent devoted follower in Christ!
I was a chef so yes I can cook that!
I am a quarter of a century years old!
I come from a loving and supportive family who I wouldn't trade in for the world! (Even you Mr. Lombardi)
I am very active with my church, though I wish I could be even more active!
I am finding out more and more how awesome Christ is every day!
Failure scares me.
I am that guy during worship songs that is waving his arms around crazy like.
I have little 175 pound Great Dane named Oliver.
I tend to push people away when I am upset or in a "funk".
I love fellowship.
I try not to let others judgment get the best of me but it does.
I currently attend an AMAZING group of Christian young adults that I would be lost without.
I was Christian by face but now I am Christian by faith!
I am not a fan of sweets.
I drink water with 10 lemons because lemonade tastes funny.
I am a grammar Nazi.
I am in love with our Lord and savior.
I have Pi memorized out to 10 digits for no reason at all.
I pretend like I know how to dance but truthfully don't.
I can by shy at first but believe me I will have you laughing by the end of meeting me.
I used to think having emotions was weak but now I cry like a little girl!
I AM ACCEPTED TO SERVE FOR 11 MONTHS IN 11 COUNTRIES IN JULY 2013 FOR WORLD RACE!
