Since I have given my life to Christ I have been wrestling with Him over and over on His timing and His will in aspects to my every day living. Do I go and talk to this guy because I have a feeling to do so? Do I simply buy this lady a coffee because its the right thing to do or because it will open up a conversation to plant a seed? What about those uncomfortable positions He puts us in to test our faith; to choose Him over "the world's view" of ourselves.

I have to admit it is really really hard to go out and share Him with complete strangers, but a call to answer the Great Commission He has made known to me. With this calling I have made a point to pray for a willingness and a prayer to hear His commands and His will to guide me through my every day life. Now there are times where its like a soft whisper to act and other times it is a deafening roar to move. I experienced one of those deafening roars on the first night I was in Atlanta during launch training. This is the story of how God put myself and others in a situation to plant a seed

During community down time a few racers and I were informed that a woman had her car break down in the middle of a busy street of Atlanta. Of course the guys stepped up and volunteered to push her up to the nearest safe spot and help her out anyway needed. Now this was not the moment that I felt God press into me and really guide me, it was more a simple act of kindness. It was when myself and 2 other squad members decided to stay with her and talk to her a bit that I felt The Lord roar in my ears and in my heart.

We began to talking to her about Jesus and finding out a bit about her more which lead us praying with her and surprisingly she decided to pray for us too! This woman was a mother of 3 that had a pretty serious issue occur with her car that led to a serious breakthrough in her heart thanks to Our Father. After getting her set up we decided to rejoin our friends and go about our business; yet God made it known that we weren't done ministering to her just yet.

On our way back we stopped and checked in on her only to find that she hadn't called anyone about her issue. A fellow squad mate and I stayed back with her and continued to just comfort and assist her. This is when the real glory of our God stepped up. We began to share our mission trip with her, the joys of The World Race, the hardships of our trials, the riches of our blessings and really the reasonings behind why we were stepping out and pursuing this trip. This caused a little defiance from her part but she kept asking questions about us as men and as brothers. We began to piece together her questions and see her hurt.

Humbly we continued pressing forward and it wasn't until The Lord gave me an analogy of being poured into so that I may pour out into others that she began to understand where we were coming from. This gift allowed me to share my testimony with her and she began to see truth behind us as men but not just men but as Godly men. That night at a Chevron gas station we saw something inside of a hurt woman's heart change for the good. A seed was planted and it was all God's work through us.

Lord I see that no matter where we are, what time it is, or who we might come in contact with; You use us in incredible ways to minister and bring Your glory to Your people. I thank you for the change You move in my heart and am blessed to instill love onto others hearts through Your guidance and through Your glory. You are great and I pray that you continually grow me and speak guidance to me for the rest of my days. Amen.
