We all have someone close to our hearts.
We all have someone in our life that we would go the extra distance for. Maybe it’s a best friend, or a parent we honor, or our spouse. With our hearts burning for this special person tells us a greater reality within this life…we are not meant to live it alone.
I am going to share something personal to you. I just traveled over 1600 miles for someone who is very dear to my heart. My friends Phillip and Stephanie are like family to me. They have a full family with three children and they opened up their home to me when I got done with the World Race. People who I deeply care about, who made a mark in my heart. Stephanie has been battling cancer for over a year now. She felt God speak not to take any medicine and she got extremely sick.
After standing on this truth and His word to her heart for months after months… she was healed. The wheel chair couldn’t hold the power of God. She could walk and play with her children again. She lived another year with the cancer beaten. Then the worst happened…she relapsed.
I visited them while she was in the hospice. I have been in 26 countries and have seen a lot of what this world offers. However, I have never seen someone so sick and someone who I love. It grieved my heart and I prayed believing God for a miracle for I have seen Him, time and time again heal many sicknesses.
About a week later, after I returned she passed away. I know that she is dancing with our First Love, our King Jesus. If anything was shown through God leading me down there…it was brotherly kindness. The power of unity, which is His heart.
When we really look at the truth of how powerful it would be if we all stood in Unity. In America, in all the churches across the world. For we all are the body attached to Him which is the Head. For united we will stand but divided we will fall. It actually breaks out the reality of God’s love when we love one another and come into the unity of His body. People will see the invisible God by the acts we show, because love is action. We can grow more into this until we attain the unity of the faith, of allowing the whole body come together, joined together. Imagine a church of what Jesus spoke of, with all the parts of the body united and working for each other, building itself up in love. Not stepping on one another but stepping on satan.
For your the hand and I am the foot, for where two or three are gathered in God’s name, there He is there with them. Unity is so key in the expansion and representation of God’s Kingdom. Allowing His love to flourish through His heart into this world. If Christ died for the person next to me, they are so worth my love, time, prayer and action.
“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
Eph 4:2-3
Real Note- I Love You All.
