Were looking at what it means to be seated with Christ in powerful ways. Last time we spoke about the “Perception” that comes in our identity with Him. Being a son or daughter of the Most High allows us to thrive in both the natural and supernatural. That apart from Him we can do nothing but through Christ all things are possible. That He is a God of transformation and is faithful to complete the good work that He starts in us. It’s His heart to see us come alive in Him and believe for the greater things. That He is a good Father who delights in showing Himself to His lost and found children through the power of the Holy Spirit.

That’s where the second part comes into play. Through the power of His Holy Spirit we are more than conquerors, reaching out to those around us in love. What He has given us is divine authority to crush the enemy, for our battle is not against the flesh but against the dark rulers of Satan’s army. We often think of a hierarchy or a chain of command when it comes to armies. That is the case for our adversary the devil but here’s the amazing thing of what God does for His children. He gives us Himself in intimate ways by living within us. For He who lives within us is greater than all the demons in the world. That the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead…lives within us.

Jesus’s Kingdom is not a matter of talk but of power. The reality of good and evil has always been there and is all around us. Just like gravity, you don’t see it but you see the effects of gravity. The same way with this war and how one of the greatest weapons the enemy uses is deception. It’s hard to fight against something if you don’t believe it. However man was made for so much more than just the natural, we see it in all the movies with superhero’s. For the most part we are always rooting for the good guy to win, because we want to hope for the goodness of others and ourself. We crave for much more in the supernatural… and it’s because there is more.

It might be hard to believe that God is supernatural but speaking the cosmos into existence seems pretty legit to me. In the Bible it says that His authority is higher than anything or anyone. That He is the King of King’s and Lord of Lord’s. No other name is greater and all will bow to Him. Not only that but He is with us and lives within us which gives us victory. That the weapons we fight with are not of this world but have divine power to tear down the enemy’s strongholds. That we walk from victory and not for it.

I am seeing more and more of His divine authority accessible and exercised when I partner with His will, perfect timing, and most of all His heart. There is a balance of doing both things it talks about it in scripture; of partnering with what I see the Father doing and calling those things that do not exist into existence. Living this balance out is operating in His Spirit. I love this parable in Luke 18 where a widow comes time and time again to a judge saying these words “Grant me justice against my adversary.” So let me ask you, will you… believe what He says and what He has given you? That you have His authority to allow the world come alive in His Spirit and love.

“And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” Luke 18:7-8
