Lets go back a few years and think about sitting in your math class, as you sit there the teacher starts teaching a new course introducing letters in correspondence with numbers. Looking around confused you see everyone else looking around like this teacher is crazy. You think to yourself, what are letters doing with numbers? The teacher taught something new called variables. Variables are mathematical symbols where usually a letter represents an unknown quantity or number, and your job was to figure it out.

There are some variables still unknown in this world, like how many grains of sand there are. The reason I am choosing sand is because to me, each grain represents God’s thought about me. “How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand— when I awake, I am still with you.” Psalm 139:17-18. However it’s not just me He thinks about…He thinks about you just as much. Now, not everyone is God’s child because you have to receive faith through Jesus to be blessed with that royalty but He still thinks constantly about the unsaved. Regardless of your status, God is absolutely obsessed with you.

Get this now… this variable will change your life. There is Approximately 7,500,000,000,000,000,000, or seven quintillion five quadrillion grains of sand. Mathematicians at the University of Hawaii tried to guess the number by calculating the grains of sand in all the beaches of the earth. According to their formula on http://www.hawaii.edu/suremath/jsand.html, the number of grains of sand will be the volume of sand divided by the volume per grain. However, since the parameters only specified the length of beaches around the world, the number of grains of sand in the world’s deserts and underneath the earth’s crater is excluded. His thoughts of you are even more, especially with all that extra sand excluded! Its staggering to realize how much He thinks about you!

That’s insane, The God of the universe thinks about you daily when you rise and rest (Psalm 139:7). That He is always thinking about you that much, no doubt a day could seem a thousand years when He thinks of everyone in that manner (2 Peter 3:8). He knows everything about you (Psalm 139:1), He knows you better than you do. Amazing to think that the Lord who created you and I cares that much for us (Psalm 144:3) and He is constantly planning a better life than we could imagine (Psalm 40:5). How do we know this is true, because He speaks to us (Amo 4:13 & 2 Tim 3:16).

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways’,
declares the LORD. ‘As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.’” Isa 55:8-9

I would strongly urge anyone who doesn’t have a relationship with Jesus to put your faith in Him. He is the only way to heaven and if you don’t choose Him the wrath of God is aimed at you because of your sin. No one is good, if we had all your thoughts from the past week, put them on a DVD and showed your mom, how would you feel? God loves you so much that His mercy is blocking it as of now, but please to commit to follow Him so that you will have everlasting life in Heaven. Jesus spoke more about Hell than Heaven and He thinks about you constantly with a jealous love! If you confess with your mouth and believe in the core of your being, your heart, to follow Him, you will be saved. There will still be trouble in this world…you will have hardship, trails, temptations, and persecution. However at each degree of resistance you find, there will be a greater degree of God’s beautiful grace. If you decide to follow Him, you must surrender to Him, but I will tell you first hand that it’s worth it! Every day I wake up I have everything I could have ever wanted. There is nothing this world has ever given me, like the true satisfaction God does. The creator of the universe thinks about you constantly and loves you immensely. Why wouldn’t we serve a loving Father who knows us better than we do and who cares for us in ways we couldn’t even fathom?
