In our living situation we have an outhouse.  In our outhouse we are unable to drop the toilet paper.  So we have a little trash can to put the discarded paper in.  It was already full before we arrived and we added to it.  So today I decided to burn the paper.  I placed our burning pot onto a piece of roofing to keep the ground from getting too hot.  Halfway through the burning process everything was going great, but then the ashes started to float away.  So I then decided to put a piece of the non-flammable roofing on half the pot to keep the ashes from drifting away.  Everything was going great! I almost had all the trash burnt.  Then Suddenly, BOOM!  The piece of roofing exploded and pieces I think went everywhere, or at least it disappeared from on top of the bowl!  I however was not touched by any of the flying poop trash or roof materials.  God continues to protect us even when we do, do stupid things.  (poop joke)

Moldova is beautiful.  Today we played with many of the kids.  Hamilton and I learned to mow the yard with a scythe.  It looks easy but very hard to master.  This month my team is in a small village called Rassevet, Moldova.  We have to travel to a nearby town to get food and wi-fi.  We go daily to the nearby well to get water for washing, laundry, and showers.  We have a nice house with electricity!  We also have a translator that stays with our team this month.  Her name is Victoria.  She is our age and has been doing a very good job translating.
