MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!! In case y’all didn’t know, my team is being sent out to evangelize for the week in a different part of the country. That means from today-December 26th we will be camping!! Also means no wifi. So before we leave, I wanted to take this chance to wish you all a happy holidays!!! Even though I’m all the way across the world this Christmas, my friends and family are still on my mind and heart. I’m so blessed that the Lord has placed me here this season. He is teaching me so much about celebrating in any circumstance I may be in and finding joy in the little moments.
Christmas is about celebration!! It’s a day we get to be with family, eat good food, make sweet memories, and most importantly glorify and thank Jesus for what He did for us on the cross.
So here’s my prayer for myself and everyone back home this Christmas:
Father you are love. Thank you for your overwhelming and never ending love you have given us. When you sent your Son to the cross to take our places on the cross, He was the perfect sacrifice and the most beautiful gift of love on Earth. Jesus you bought our lives with a love that we were never deserving of. Thank you Lord for breaking our chains of sin and setting us free. Let us seek to imitate you, Lord: Walk in love, pour out love, and allow ourselves to be loved. Let your love shine through us as a light to this dark world. Let us show others the grace you have so freely shown us. I pray that this Christmas your peace, love, joy, and light fills every home. Clothe us in compassion, kindness, gentleness, and patience. I pray we live out this season and the rest our lives with RECKLESS LOVE and RECKLESS JOY. Father let our time with friends and family be a celebration and an act of worship for who you are.
I am beyond excited to be able to spend this Christmas sharing with others the love of our Father!!! Thank you all for everything you’ve done throughout my life and for all of your support on this journey!! Peace and love from Africa!!!
