So, I just received the phone call that I have been accepted to the WORLD RACE for July 2013. 11 countries in 11 months doing outreach, aid, and missions work around the world. For those of you who know me, you are probably well aware that I have the most enormous heart, desire to serve, and thirst for adventure imaginable. You might also be thinking: "Dave, on a Christian missions trip?…" Trust me, I'm thinking the same. But, I am extremely confident that this is the perfect next step in my life and that it has been God, not random coincidence, which led me here. God has always played an important role in my life, even when I tried to run from Him. I will get more in depth later, but for now… just a quick post.
I will post more soon about how I ended up deciding to apply for the World Race, what this adventure means to me, and my fears/expectations for this trip.
