for those of you who are interested in being a part of this ministry throughout the next year in a financial manner, i offer you some insight into the finances of the trip as of today. the total cost of the trip is $13,800. that includes my airfare, visas, and the $7/day we will use for housing and food. i would be honored to give everything i have to honor the Lord with the money you give that will allow me an opportunity to serve around the globe.
in my donations account held at Adventures in Missions, i currently have $7,260.
in my possession, but yet to be mailed in is $3,000.
pledges that have been made and are currently known by AIM are $1400.
of the $13,800 required to be raised for this trip, i have in hand or in pledges $11,660. That leaves a need of just over $2,000. if that’s something you’re willing to help with, there is a link to the left that will allow you to make a tax deductible donation towards this trip. as soon as i reach the $13,800 i will make sure you know, and will inform you of which of my teammates still need to raise support, so you can give in that direction should you feel inclined.

on another note, the team i am a part of – Team Spectacle – would love for you to have an opportunity to financially contribute to the needs of the countries we are ministering in. as the year goes by, we will set up a PayPal account, and money you donate to that account will go 100% to the ministry we are a part of. for example, if we’re working in an orphanage and we recognize a need for clothing for these orphans, we will tell you of that need, and you can be assured that every penny you donate will be used to purchase clothing for those orphans. if we can make an impact in the life of a girl caught in the trap of sex slavery in thailand, we will allow you to know how we will accomplish that financially, and give you the opportunity to give directly to that cause. as that website is made available, i’ll let you know.
