Tonight’s words: “God’s unconditional love.”
Tonight I was feeling like I let God down by caving to some temptation struggles. In the midst of this I was hungry and had a free card for a free sandwich at Chic fil la so I left the house and off I went. I arrived, ordered my food, and sat down. I began to think I wanted to order something else along with my chicken sandwich to help fill me up, and then I remembered I should save money and not buy anything extra. Here goes God… So my tray gets delivered and there is this box that is all too familiar to me, a 12 count nugget in addition to my sandwich. I didn’t know what else to do other than smile and thank God. I began to greatfuly eat my sandwich when I thought it might make me look selfish if I did not at least offer the box back to an employe and notify them it was not part of my original order. So after I finished my sandwich I went back and told an employe when she said kindly “if you want you can just keep it?” “Thank you” I replied! I walked away sat down and began to smile as I thought of God’s unconditional love. I am also now reminded of God’s grace, and I could not live joyfully without.
God is wonderful. He took what may have been someone’s mistake and used it to show His personal unconditional love for me. I am confident God wants to reveal His unconditional love to you also. Ask Him and when He does or if He already has pleases share. I would love to hear how God has shown you His unconditional love.
