For month 5, we were in Nizamabad, India. We worked with an organization whose passion is to bring the gospel to the people of India. Our ministry involved us going to a different remote village everyday to preach the gospel, pray for people and encourage start up churches. It was difficult to keep my energy level and excitement up while we were meeting new people every night. It was like the first day of school everyday. This month, I had to rely on the Lord more than I ever have before. I was constantly in the Word and prayer trying to fight spiritual oppression and draw strength from the Lord. I really came to appreciate and love the ministry that we did. Every night we went to a different village to tell the people about Jesus. Most nights, at least half the people heard about Jesus for the first time. We had a lot of Hindus who would come to church or ask for prayer just because we were Americans. I would just pray for these people, that The Lord would move in their hearts and plant a seed in them. This month was special. It was filled with prayer, building relationships, embracing culture, baptisms, casting out demons, healing, people hearing about Jesus for the first time, seeking and relying on The Lord, and all the other craziness India has to offer.
Preaching in the villages.
Rhakeem performing a baptism.
Encouraging the local church.

We are so thankful for all the support we have been blessed with so far. We are still in need of about $5,500 in order to stay on the mission field. As a fundraiser, we are giving away World Race recipe books to those who donate $25 or more in the next two weeks. To get a recipe book, all you need to do is donate $25 or more to our support account by clicking on the “support me” button. The recipe book will be emailed at the end of the race.
