WOW!!!! That is what I really want to say. Day by day God surprises me more and more. He tells us to not worry and that he has our back. Well that is true. This past week again I felt a little anxious about the whole money issue. During the week I was a little down but yet grateful that one of my cousins was helping me with my garage sale. With that being said, I decided to just stop by a Christian store to buy her a little gift as a thank you. What I never expected was to get blessed myself and especially on that same day. God is so good. I met a special lady at the store that really touched my heart and I truly felt God’s presence in her. I think it was a divine intervention the way we met. After talking to her I felt at peace. We do not understand God’s works, but he is always there when we most need him.
The day of of garage sale, it was raining and I thought “I refuse to give in”. I knew that if I believed with all my heart that the rain would stop, that it would. I felt the need to have a moment with God just him and I. He does not need anything from us but I told him that I was doing the garage sale because I needed it in order to raise the mission funds. I did not have to tell him because he already knows. But what he does want is for us to talk to him. He wants us to trust him and to have faith. I believed with all my heart that the rain was going to stop. And guess what? It did??. God is Amazing. I love him so much and I want everyone to know of his Grace and Love. God wants the best for us. The garage sale turned out GREAT and I received more than I expected. WOW!!!! Was my thought. I was full of joy. Not only for the garage sale, but for allowing me another day in his presence. Yes that day (9/10) was my birthday. I could have not asked for a better day. God again reminded me that he wants to and can exceed our expectations.
