 Well, it is Wednesday April 29th and I am thoroughly enjoying laying out on the beach of Koh Samet in Thailand. I have had a great week debriefing with the squad and especially Mike & Patti – it is SO GREAT to have them here with us…. we feel complete with them!( But, we miss Ashley Musick TERRIBLY)!!!

I just wanted to give you a small update about what is going on with me and my team. First of all – THANK YOU for the cards … I was able to receive 20 cards from the AIM office and it seriously made my night. Thank you for all of the encouraging words and the hilarious singing cards … you have no idea how much it really means to me to get those. (Thanks to: Adrienne, Mawmaw Hardin, the Worley’s, Steph & Rob Snow, Kristin & Austin Begnaud, Bree Babin, Mrs. Jeter & her Sunday school class, Lori & Johnny Teague, Taylor & Cody Calame, Becky & Craig Cole, Ronda Guillot and my fam: Mom, Dad, Ash, Ran, Chris, Cason, Mackenli, & Ryleigh!!) I am going to keep them and re-read them over and over again! I LOVE getting cards!! I will let you know when it is time to receive cards again… it will be another 2 months from now!! Here is a picture of all my awesome cards! 🙂

Team Spectacle is back together again and will be heading to Malaysia for the next month. I am going to be working with a homeless shelter while there – living and working there! I am really excited about the possibility of getting to know the people there and building relationships with all those involved. I feel like God is going to teach me a lot next month and I am really looking forward to it. The one thing I ask of you is to be careful in your emails to me. Malaysia is a closed country and I have to be extremely careful with the language I use. So – no words like: Jesus, pray, God, Bible…etc. I will replace those words in my blogs, but try to make it really clear what I am saying. It is really important that this happen, or my team could get in trouble! I should be there by Friday, May 1st!

Again, your emails, cards, letters, & encouragement are making this trip fly by for me. Pray that I would really relish in everything and make it all count. I certainly do not want to wish the time away. *As of last night – God asked me and most of my team to fast from the internet this month…so, unless He gives me an okay – I may not be posting any blogs this month. I ask for your prayers – because this means no interaction and contact with home …. which is an overwhelming thought to me. But, I am confident this is what God is asking of me and I am trying really hard to be obedient, even though it sucks!! I am at that place again where I feel like I have given so much and He is asking for a little more – until there is no more of me, and all of Him … quite a painful process I must say!
