dear Ryleigh Ranae’ Block (AKA: Ryleigh Rooster) —
I am
not sure how to express to you how much my heart is in love with you! I
have to confess, I was not sure if I would ever love you the way I love Cason
& Mackenli — but the minute I saw you on October 6, 2008 — I fell
completely in love with you.
I
could never have known that my heart would only continue to grow as this year
went on. I am so sad that I have missed the first year of your life …
crawling, your first bite of real food, your first word, your first laugh, your
first steps … but I have thought about you every day this year!

you are a very special gift from God to our family. You are a little miracle and you were the
best surprise we could have ever gotten!
You have brought a peace and a joy that we would never have known
without you in our lives! You are such a
precious little girl and I cannot wait to wrap my arms around you and kiss you
all day long! (You are going to get all
of them that I have been storing up for 11 months) You will always be my
little baby girl and I can’t wait to get to spend time with you – teaching you
how to say “Dee” and how to learn to love me the best! 🙂

& Mackenli: I love you too — soo much and I am just as excited to
get my arms around you too! We are going to have some fun slumber parties
when Aunt Dee gets home! And you are going to read me all the books you
have learned this year and sing me all the little songs that you love! And – we are all going to have a FUN dance
party too!
I love you so much!! Even though I have been all around the world this
year — you three are my favorite kids in the entire world!
