I wrote this email to my family … and since I do not have a whole lot of time to write– figured that I would just share with you what I wrote to them.

I am finally here in Siem Reap – and we already love it!! Fhonkie & Hya are adorable and I met their two youngest kids this morning – they have a 7 year old daughter, a 3 year old daughter, and a 20 month old son…cute!! I am still not caught up on my sleep or this time change. Since time savings for y’all on Sunday – we are officially 12 hours ahead of you…which is kind of nice actually. We should be spending our Saturday’s at The Blue Pumpkin (where we can use Internet) and I would like for those days to be my dates with all of you…if that is at all possible…our skype dates!  This morning — I got to ride a bike for a mile or so down the road to the English Training Center and it was SO much FUN!!  I seriously LOVE being back in Asia!! It was so fun to ride there across the Cambodian highways!!  We took a really long tour of Phnom Penh Cambodia the other day and it was incredible. I had never heard of the genocide that happened here not even 30 years ago — devastating….over 30% of the Cambodian population was murdered during a 4 year span. We visited the prison where they kept and beat the people and the killing fields where they dumped the bodies!  I took lots of pictures, but have not put any on my computer yet — very intense.  There were still clothes next to the trees where they would beat and kill the people.

Dad — don’t worry — the food here is DELICIOUS!!!!  — we actually have FRESH VEGETABLES back in our diet and it is amazing!!

I love you and just wanted you to know that I am safe and seriously SO HAPPY here!!

* I will be teaching Power Point and a conversation class in the evenings for the students here at our YWAM base!!
* Still cannot believe that within 5 days, I was in 5 countries.  Dominican, America, Japan (for layover), Thailand, Cambodia!!!

LOVE YOU!! 🙂
