WAHOO – we got to go to Namibia … where we were in Botswana was about 6km from the Namibian border. The truth though, is that I thought we were going to be in Namibia on day 200 of the Race…but it was actually on day 199. I guess it could sound equally as cool that it was day 199, but in my mind…I was pumped about it falling on day 200 – so we will just pretend for the sake of my excitement!! J
We had a great time going through the border and getting new stamps in our passports … and our final destination in Namibia was this incredible – hollowed out tree:
The team had a blast – exploring and taking pictures in the tree.
Dreis& Ilse took us a little way up the road and took us up into another tree to eat our picnic lunch and share communion with one another. It was a beautiful day – can’t wait for you to see all the rest of the pictures and videos that we took on that day!
