I have been in Viile Tecii, Romania for about 3 days now and I might have to go ahead and say that this might be my favorite place on the race so far! It is GORGEOUS and the weather is almost perfect. We knew we would all be in Romania, but had no idea until we arrived that our whole Squad would live within a 5 minute walk from each other. Our whole squad has not ministered in the same country since Cambodia, which was month 3 — so this was a Great surprise!!

There are five teams all living at the home of John & Tootsie Fracker and their adorable 2 year old son Holden and we are spread out between our tents and his home! We found out a couple days ago that our ministry will be to the local people in the town of Viile Tecii — basically, we will get to know the families around here. We will go into their homes, sit down and talk with them, hear their stories, fall in love with them, and spend time praying with them and sharing our hearts with them!! I can already forsee that this is going to be a fantastic month! The people in this place are so friendly and affectionate – always wanting to hold your hand and kiss your cheek when they greet you! I am seriously in love with this place.

We spent yesterday having 2 church services…one at 10 am and the other at 6 pm. At the morning service – John felt like God wanted us to walk down the street singing worship songs and inviting people to church! This is the first time I have ever done this in my life and the people are so friendly here – it was not something that felt intimidating! They welcomed us and were so excited when we told them that we wanted to invite them to church! The church service was packed last night with the local people…as we lead them in worship songs and 4 of our guys told them of God’s love – they beamed! It was amazing to watch as they began to feel the Holy Spirit moving in the room – and tears began to flow as they came forward to ask for prayer! I was able to pray specifically for 2 ladies and I was just amazed to watch the others in the room as God poured out His love on them. I am so excited about what is ahead for the next 2 weeks here!
Just to let you know – these pictures are REAL pictures from my camera — it is that gorgeous here!
Love you all and look forward to hearing from you!!
