First of all — I just want to remind you all of how much I love you!  Your encouragement, prayers, emails and responses seriously mean the WORLD to me!!

I have a couple things I would like to talk about today.  First — would you prayerfully consider giving financial support to my teammate Anna Coffey?!  She is a really precious and beautiful girl — with a heart that might even be bigger than Texas!  God is using Anna in awesome ways and it is really exciting to be able to be on a team with her and watch the Lord change her more and more all the time.  Anna’s financial need for the rest of the trip is pretty severe- and I would personally be devastated if she were not able to finish the whole 11 months with us!  Plus – she laughs at everything I say and I don’t want to lose that!! 🙂 Please prayerfully consider helping her and my team with that!  If you would like to donate – please click here

The other thing I want to do is tell you about our next few days of adventure!  We are leaving the YWAM base here in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic at 3:45 AM tomorrow.  We will fly from here to Miami, FL for a few hours and then to LA, California for the night.  We will spend the night in California and actually all have plans to eat more American and Mexican food than should be humanly possible — simply because we know we will not get it for another 9 months!!!  Oh – the beauty of guacamole!  Maybe I will make a picture blog of all that we eat — it could be a ridiculously unhealthy amount!

Leave LAX the next morning for a 21 hour flight into Bangkok, Thailand with a slight stop in Tokyo for refueling! I am looking forward to watching several American movies — just to keep up!  Once we get into Thailand, — then we take a 12(?) hour bus ride into Phnom Penh, Cambodia and stay there for the night at a YWAM base!  The next day, my team is then getting on another bus and taking a 10(?) hour bus ride back toward the border of Thailand to the town of Siem Reap to live with a family for the month.  Our ministry will include living with a Philipino family (Funky & Hiya) at the YWAM base in Siem Reap and the girls will teach English during the day — while the boys hang out with monks in a monastery and share Christ with them.  My favorite thing is that supposedly Funky & Hiya are obsessed with KARAOKE — so, needless to say….I am pretty excited about that!!!  Maybe I will post some of our best videos! 🙂  We will be really close to the Angkor Wat ruins (also where the movie Tomb Raider was filmed) – so it should be really exciting to visit there.  Google it — it looks incredible!!

Love you all and thank you again for everything—I am so serious about how important your support means to me.  Just an update: I have in my account $9,914.00 — thank you so much to the anonymous person who sent $500 — wow!!

Can’t wait to hear from you all!!
