This month in Malaysia Team Royal Symphony will be doing Unsung Heroes. Unsung Heroes is a program that Adventures in Mission casted to look for unrecognized ministry contacts to connect and network with in an effort to come alongside them and provide lift to their efforts to further the Kingdom.

An Unsung Heroes could be, but not limited to, local churches, missionaries, organizations working for the kingdom and, or orphanages. Once we locate an Unsung Heroes, we will visit their facilities and get to know them to see if they will be a good fit for future world racers to minister.

What does this mean for the team?

This means that the team has no permanent ministry location this month; instead we will be travelling around Malaysia for ministry. We will be leaning on God for places to go and stay.  Our top three goals are (1) commUnity in the team- keeping each other accountable in growing spiritually, emotionally, and physically; (2) intentionally seeking the Lord- staying in constant prayer, and allowing the Lord to change our plans; and (3) outward boldness- being obedience and proactively listening to the Lord.

Also, we each have a role to ensure that this month goes somewhat smooth. Please pray for each one of us as we embark into our roles this month:

-Sierra Yingst, our team leader will also be our CommUnity Person, handling everything that deals with the healthiness of the team, such as scheduling team-time, pray time, and ensure that we are all staying in the Word.

-Katherine Schemel, is our Unsung Heroes Point Person, contacting and filling out paper work of our new contacts

-Kristina Smith, is our Treasurer, handling our finances and making sure that we stay within our budget

-Lauren Elizabeth- is our Hostel Logistic Coordinator, researching and booking hostel that fits in our budget to stay if we have no place to stay

-Ashley Metzger, is our Head Chef, in charge of our food and making sure that we get the required vitamins for our body

-Crystal Canales, is our Social Organizer, researching of fun things to do and places to visit in our free day and activities we can do as a team

-Daphnee (myself), I am the Travel Logistic Coordinator, researching the best transportation to travel from and to the contacts and hostels

Currently, the team does not have any contacts, but we are Asking The Lord (ATL) and staying confident that He will provide and guide our path here in Malaysia.

How can you be part of this month’s ministry?

If you know of any good candidates in Malaysia, my team would love to hear from you.  Feel free to email me at [email protected].

Still need $4,959 due March 1st to be fully funded, and to be able to continue on the race. Please join me in prayer that God will provide all my financial needs for the race.

Thank you for all your prayers!
