This month we stayed with Pastor Ekachai and his wife Ai.

Pastor Ekachai is filled with joy, always excited to share God’s Words. His model is to build a relationship with the people and than share the gospel.  He is always the life of the party even when he is not feeling well.  He wakes up at 4.00 am every morning to pray, and 5:00 am conference call with the other others.

His Wife, Ai, is a prayer warrior; she prays every time before we drive to our next ministry.  She is an amazing cook, always cooking variety of Thai breakfast, lunch and diner for us to eat. She went above and beyond to take care of all of us this month, just because she saw Jesus in our team.

We taught English at seven different schools, from first graders to high school students. I had the opportunity to help one of the schools with their “Three Little Pigs” play for a competition.

The first week we went to a village to build friendships, and taught English as well.

We visited a women prison, where we sung a few gospel songs, play the clarinet and Claire shared her testimony. The Holy Spirit was definitely moving amongst these women; they were very attentive when Claire was given her testimony and a few of the ladies were in tears. I will never forget that day. We also visited a juvenille hall with forty teanage boys; Ray shared his testimony and the gospel with them. All the boys stood up to accept Christ in their heart. I will continue to pray for each of the women and teenage boys to choose a different path when they are out of prison.

We performed and act-out the Story of Christmas-the Birth of Jesus at six different Christmas services and at some of the schools. It was amazing to see the children receiving their Good Samaritans Christmas boxes coming from all over the world.

Two of the schools arranged for us to visit two of Chanthaburi’s waterfall: the Misee Waterfall, and hike to the Grating Waterfall at the Khao Khichakut National Park.

On our free day, Mondays, we visited and worship on top of a Temple; we visited the Kings project; and we went to elephant-island.

For our last team diner, Pastor Ekachai took us to a hotel to have American food.

I had an amazing and memorable four months with Team BFFs; they challenged me and helped me grow; we had fun times and intense moments; many laughters and many tears. I am moving forward into the new year with a new team with all the wisdoms and advices they have blessed me with.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !
