This has been an amazing last month on the race. The team had the opportunity to live with the amazing Haynes family, who loved us so well and made sure we had a great time here in South Africa.
Ma Margie and Pa Connie has been married for over forty years, and they are serving the Lord and their community in all the ways they can. The family manage New Hope Jeremiah Project where they serve the children in their community; every Friday Ma and Pa cook a big pot of delicious soup to feed the kids and everyone in the communtiy; they go to different part of Cape Town to feed and hang out clothes to the poorest community.

It was well worth waking up early to say goodbye and send our little sister Xena to school on our last morning with the family.
This month, New Hope Jeremiah Project held a three week Day Camp while the kids were off from school. World Racers or “The Raisings” and junior leaders started the day with singing through the neighborhood to wake up the kids, ate breakfast and lunch together, played games, dance together, and memorized verses with the kids, which they had to present to each other and had the opportunity to show their family and friends during the Tuesday Night Live Concert what they have been learning during Day Camp!

We had the opportunity to hike Table Mountain. It was a long steep hike, but well worth it, the view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking.
It has been a privilege to serve the Lord along side these beautiful ladies. They have become sisters to me, and each one of them have a special place in my heart. We have cried together, laught together, workout together, became rebels together, sing and dance together, and the list goes on…. Thank you ladies for loving me!
