On September 10, we arrived safely in Guatemala with backpack and day-pack in hand carrying 11 months worth of belonging ready to love and be loved by the community of Quiche, ready to be used by our Father.
It was raining heavily on our way to Quiche, which caused an accident on the road and hold up traffic for about 2 hours. We stopped by a church, and even though we did not fully understand the Spanish, the room was filled with the Holy Spirit; worshipping and speaking victory over the people of Guatemala, and over our friends and family back home. There is no language barrier when praising God!
September 11-14, 2013
The first few days in Guatemala, we visited the markets; places to eat; places to receive internet to community with love ones back home; we also visited the National Hospital and loved on mothers and babies.
With our ministry starting September 15, 2013, we have been loving and learning more about our teammates and squad-mates; cooking for each other; worshipping with each other; speaking life into each other; sharing our testimonies; and praying with each other.
