The Bible speaks of countless miracles of healing. Jesus Christ touched and transformed many lives.

  1. Jesus casts out an evil spirit (Mark 1:21-34)
  2. Jesus heals many sick (Matthew 15:30-31)
  3. Jesus heals two blind men (Matthew 20: 29-34
  4. Jesus heals a crippled woman (Luke 13: 10-17)

But, does He still heal the sick today?

When I read stories/testimonies from those who witness God healing a sick person, part of me want to believe with no questions, but the other part of me want to see it to believe it. 

I often question my faith when I say “I’ll believe it when I see it.” I wonder if my faith is as radical as I think it is. Is my faith strong enough to go to the nations to speak about how GREAT God’s love is? How holy He is? How able He is?  Do I have a radical faith to believe that He can do the impossible without seeing? Do I have a radical faith to believe that he still heal today?

During training camp, (Wednesday, July 17, 2013) I became sick with a very bad headache, my body temperature was both cold and hot and I had trouble breathing. I try to hide being sick, but my new brothers and sisters were sure something was wrong and express concern and prayed for me.

Normally when I am sick, I like to be alone, sleep it off and hope to get better soon. One thing for sure on the World Race you will never be/suffer alone, even when you want to be. I am glad that God has blessed me with an extended family with caring brothers and sisters who are filled with a radical faith to believe in God’s awesome power.

That day I try my best to go alone and sleep it off, but God had a plan to show me that He still heal today and He can do it in a second.  Three of my sisters prayed over me, as they were praying and asking god to take away the headache and help me breath with ease. I was expecting that healing to come after the prayers, but as they were praying the headache was gone, and my breathing and body temperature were normal.  

It was a scary moment to witness God’s healing, but to be the one to experience God’s healing power…..

There are no words that can express how I felt

But ..

How GREAT is Our God!!!

To answer the question does He still heal today?

YES!!!

YES!!!

He still Heal today!!!

Hebrews 13:8 states "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever."
