This week is training camp. We are about half way through it, and even in the first two days, so much is happened. Since I am on limited time with internet, I'll just share a little bit of my experience here…

I've gotten to meet my squad. B-Squad represent! There are about 50 other people filled with passion to make the name of Jesus known among the nations, and it's awesome that we will get to share 11 months together. It's an honor to be a part of this amazing community, and I know that God has called us all to be  a team.

I've been saved for a few years now. I was lame, God came into my life and change everything. He saved me and I was able to get up off the ground, just like the crippled man in Acts 3.

But for the longest time, I've realized that though I am no longer lame man and have gotten up, I've done a lot of standing around.

In verse 8,  "[The crippled man]  jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping, and praising God." I feel like I have take a few steps since getting up, but God is moving me into a season of not just walking, but jumping.

For the past three years, God has grown me through my community of friends. I've come to know more and more about my identity in Christ and what it means to be called a son of God. I'm now in a season to truly test out my legs. Not simply baby steps, but full on running and jumping in the knowledge of who God calls and empowers me to be. I've come to know freedom and joy in a newer and deeper sense than I have felt before.

We just found out our teams yesterday. I have a new brother and four sisters to grow ever closer to Lord with. We're just starting to scratch the surface of what God has in store for us. It's gonna be exciting.  Gotta run. These legs weren't healed so I could just stand around. More to come later.

Team Freedom!
