So many times God speaks in the simplest situations.
I'm packing right now.
Packing up all the clothes as I prepare to move out of my house, live in other's houses for the month of September, and then packing yet again for World Race.
As I look at all my clothes, and I have a lot of them….
I'm folding up tons of dress shirts in every color and thinking about how I bought them to look nice. As I think about all the money I've spent on these shirts, I'm thinking how much I probably never need to buy another one again.
I've really been de-idolizing money more and more each year. I know it's something necessary, (epecially since having to raise $14,300 to go on World Race), but I'm seeing money more and more as the tool that it is, rather than the source for everything.
I don't really need another dress shirt.
At some point, they all wear out anyways.
God provides the only garments of value.
And they're eternally beautiful,
… and never go out of style.

I delight greatly in the LORD;
my soul rejoices in my God.
For he has clothed me with garments of salvation
and arrayed me in a robe of his righteousness,
as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest,
and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
Isaiah 61:10
Not only can we help to clothe the naked with earthly clothes,
we can point them to the only one who can FULLY clothe them.
It's good to be fully clothed. Thank you Jesus.
