I see a force (river) that cannot be tamed (resemblance of God). I see a raft, a life boat (Jesus). I see a family in the raft and the only control over the river (God) they have is witch direction they are heading. What is truly awesome about rafting is when you fall out! And you can only count on the people/family you have let into your raft. This to me resembles a lot of our true honest broken Christian life.
In our worst times of life the people/family we have let into our boat are such an important part of our life. If we are to stop for a moment and evaluate, who are we trusting to be in our rafts? They are the ones who direct and help safely get us through the rapids of life. They hold the ores that with help pull us back into the raft when we fall out. Who are the people in your life right now that you are counting on if you are to fall out of your life raft right now? How do we know they will be there for us when we fall out of the raft/ drift away from living a fruitful joyful life?

I see how it is very easy to let anyone into your life and allow them to impact you. The scary thing is just like rafting we don’t always think of what could happen, like falling out of a raft and having to count fully on the people you have let into your raft! It is really a great question to ask yourself and evaluate who you are letting in your raft and trusting with your life?
I am thankful that the lord has blessed me with this valuable vision of what it looks like to have carefully chosen family in my raft and how important there role truly is. I pray each one of you reading seek out who is in your life raft and whether you trust them with your life and pulling you back into the safety of the raft/Jesus.
Thank you for all your support and love poured out. I am so close to being fully funded and only have 310$ left and I will be fully funded. What a blessing it is to be apart of the kingdom of God and living as the hands and feet of Jesus.
1 PETER 1 8-9
You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy. The reward for trusting him will be the salvation of your souls.
