Today I prayed for a girl on my squad. She was not feeling well. Holding tissues and sniffly. I prayed for her and she said that weirdly enough her nose felt clear. Praise God! He is a healer.
I’ve been praying differently. No longer am I begging God to act according to His will. Neither am I questioning that His will or plan is ultimately good, and for the good of others. I’m not trying to get the result that I expect. I pray according to the Spirit. I take hold of God’s promises, and I declare them. As we do that in prayer for others the Spirit gets released over them and into them, and stuff happens. Sometimes we see the stuff that happens and sometimes we don’t, but God is always working. What God says is true, is true. He hears our prayers as we seek Him. I have prayed many times and not seen a result. Sometimes I pray for the wrong reason, with a bad motivation. I thank God that His motivation is always good. His plan is good. His purpose is good. He is good. Yet, He chose me as a vessel and conduit of His love and resurrection power by His Holy Spirit to others!?! He is also choosing you. He has been revealed, His Kingdom is at hand, and you have a place there. He has given you the key. In His word we find the truth. By His Spirit we are led into every measure of it. Man, our God is cool.
