Wow I can’t believe how fast this month went by.. This month in Zimbabwe was amazing!!I really enjoyed this month for a few different reasons, one being that this month was just team Kindle by ourselves for the first time.
We really got to bond as a team this month though not having power for the majority of the time as well as not have running water. Which resulted in bucket showers for the month. Also, walking miles to ministry everyday. Looking back now I am really grateful for everything our team had to endure this month.

We got to work with a ministry called Youth for Christ. I loved working with the team at YFC, which consisted of Micheal, Anesu, Edward, Ty, and Tawanda.
We all got to work with a lot of young adults, doing a church service with them each Sunday night. One night we put on a concert where I got to preach for the first time. It was definitely a humbling experience I feel like I could have done a much better job then I did.
But, fortunately for me I got some more practice the very next day at one of the high schools. I was going to just preach the same sermon that I had written out from the day before, but during worship right before I went up to preach I felt like the Holy Spirit was telling me I needed to preach about the story of Joseph.
So I changed the sermon on my way up to the podium. My teammates that were going to share something about the sermon after me were definitely caught off guard but they did a good job of being flexible as well. Talk about being led by the Spirit. I’m so glad I was obedient because it ended up going really well, and I actually enjoyed preaching that day.

God has definitely been calling me to step out of my comfort zone and grow in new areas such as preaching and evangelizing.
One day we went out evangelizing in the city and got invited over to talk with this woman on her front porch. While talking we found out that she was going to a church in the mountains where they believed in worshiping their ancestors.
We were able to share with her the story of Jesus talking to the woman at the well. She was really encouraged and let us pray for her and her family. She said that she would visit the church we were partnering with the following Sunday.

It was encouraging to meet with someone who was so kind and open to hear what we had to say. Before we left she ran inside and brought out homemade peanut-butter and some peanuts to take with us.
There were so many moments this month that God used me and people on our team in amazing ways to help encourage, uplift and speak life into many different people who we encountered this month.
I can’t express how grateful I am to be on the Race. I am truly grateful to all my supporters and just ask that you continue to keep me in your prayers for the months to come.
For the Kingdom,
Daniel McNair
