The Sunrise is breathtaking.
He could have made the sun turn on every morning like a light switch. But He didn’t.
He made a slow rise.
It could always give the same light as midday. But it doesn’t. It reflects all shades of yellow, orange, red, pink, purple.
Twice a day the sun does this. Sunrise. Sunset. Two vastly different meanings, but done with such delicate power you cannot help but to observe.
Twice a day God has created this sacred time to meet with Him. At sunrise you say “tell me what you would like to do today. What adventure would you like to take me on?” At sunset He says, “ How did you like our adventure? What have I taught you today?”
Book ends to each day. No matter what, the sun always rises and the sun always sets.
Even on cloudy days, if you are up high enough (perhaps in a plane) you will see that the sun still rose. Sometimes the clouds block our view, but it is still there. The sun will rise every day whether we stop to notice or not.
God created the sunrise to show His promise that He is always good. If it’s stormy, He is good. If you don’t slow down to see it, He is good.
As long as the sun rises and sets there is good in every day.
It is at our discretion if we choose to be part of the sunrise.
