In our village llano we would pass a side of a building that had this one political stamp on it and my team had a vision for the village and we saw the side of the building painted and bringing the community together and that’s exactly what happened. We got permission from the lady who owned the building to paint it and everything went into motion. We went and bought the paint and a pastor in the village lent us some brushes and so did the lady who owns the building. The last week of October is when we started painting the wall with mountains and the volcano and we had the idea to have our English students make flowers using their hand prints. We painted from late October till mid November. We worked hard painting it and on the 14th we finally had the kids do the hand prints and they had a blast helping out. We all came together to make something ordinary become extraordinary from a red wall with government signs to their beautiful land know for their volcanoes. Every time the people of llano walk by the mural they will see love and community.
