I’m not really sure what to say about this month except that it was filled with adventure. It was filled with a lot of physical, emotional and spiritual battles. My squad and I have been challenged greatly and grown so much already.

As I said in my last post, training camp and launch had so much just in the two weeks that changed my way of thinking on so many things. It was exhausting and fun all at the same time.

After we returned to Zion, several things started happening to my team and I. We went cliff jumping in the Chiang Mai Grand Canyon where I landed wrong and ended up bruising my tailbone and back during the process. A few days after that, dani had to go to the hospital for abdominal pain that turned out being from her appendix. So she had an emergency appendectomy. Then EmilyAnn rolled her ankle badly and ended up having to use a brace and ice to keep the swelling down. There was also sore feet/legs and a stomach virus. We have just taken hit after hit for our team. Thankfully things seem to be getting better.

Our ministry this month looked like prayer walks in the mornings on a new bar street they hope to witness to one day, monk chats in the afternoon and intercession in the evening where we prayed over the other missionaries working on the bar streets that allow us to talk to the girls. It was a big learning experience for me because my struggle is sitting and praying for long periods at one time. I learned so much about how different it can look compared to what I had in my mind at first. I’m so thankful for the experience!

Next we will be going to Cambodia and I’m so thrilled to find out what we will be doing there!

Please be praying for my team and I as we go through the travelling and changes for the next month. I am still currently fundraising for this trip in order to be fully funded. You can make any donations to daniellemills.theworldrace.org and please know that all amounts are appreciated.

With love,

Danielle
