Hey there to all my family, friends, fellow racers, supporters and to all those interested in the World Race that are just reading 5,000 blogs a day at this point! So glad you all dropped in!
I am in the process of raising the financial support that I need in order to launch with my squad in January 2016. Sadly, it’s A LOT of money. Gladly, we have a God that is in charge of every penny on this earth and where it goes!
Usually at this point, there are blogs where people are really shy about asking for money and it’s just an awkward thing to blog about. Well… I’m not that person. Yeah, it’s weird asking for your money, but when you think about it how did you get that money in the first place? God put everything in orbit so that you would be in the right place at the right time and so that you could get the best job that allows you to live comfortably in this thing we call life. I know that may sound a little harsh, but it’s a reality that God has recently thrown straight into the center of my face. OUCH! Giving up what you have to help further His kingdom sucks sometimes!!!
The truth is, I NEED HELP! I can’t do this on my own. And while I fully believe that God provides every single little thing that is needed when He calls His people to go, I also believe that a huge way He provides is through others who are obedient in their giving.So… here I am. Calling on you. Asking you to stop for a moment during your day and pray about supporting me financially. Your giving may look like getting together with some buddies to all chip in and send in a love donation. Or maybe you want to become a monthly partner and set aside a certain amount that you can donate monthly until I am fully funded.
Your support is something I would never take lightly. I am thankful for your love and support and can’t wait to see if/when/how God uses you throughout this process to encourage me and the rest of my squad!
