Hey y’all! I’m sure many of you have been wondering what’s been going on lately. Well, let me tell you… 8 months (what seemed like all the time in the world) has flashed before my eyes and now I’m about to get on a plane and go to TRAINING CAMP!! How the heck did that happen?!
Today was spent with my parents helping to get me prepared for training camp. In doing so, so many questions were going through my head:
•HOW DID 8 MONTHS TURN INTO 48 DAYS?!
•AM I SERIOUSLY ABOUT TO LEAVE FOR TRAINING?!
•AM I FULLY PREPARED (Spiritually/physically/mentally)
•DO I KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THE BIBLE TO SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS?!
•WHAT IF I FAIL GOD, MY SQUAD, OR MYSELF?!
•AM I WORTHY ENOUGH FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY?!
•DID GOD SERIOUSLY HAND-PICK ME — doesn’t He know how much of a mess I am?!
•IS THIS REALLY HAPPENING?!?!?!
There’s only one answer that seems right.
YES.
When I said “yes” to God and His calling on my life, the answer I have to all of these questions are just simply, yes. When I commit to Him, He equips me with everything I need. Will it all be unicorns and daisies? Absolutely not. Will there be trials and tribulations that are extremely hard? You can bet on it. BUT, I can rest assured that my sweet Father has already prepared this path for me. He has gone before me, and already fought my every battle. it is in His presence that I can find peace and joy. He is always with me, and in that, I can know that I cannot be shaken.
“I have set the lord always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore, my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices!”
Psalm 16:8-9
