I’ve been sitting here for quite some time trying to figure out what I want to tell you. For some reason, nothing is coming into my mind. It’s not that nothing good has happened in ministry this week, or that we haven’t experienced anything; I think it’s that there’s so much to take in, and that’s exactly what I’m trying to do– take it all in.
There are a million things running through my mind right now, so forgive for the randomness!
•It feels like I’ve been here for two months
•It also feels like we got here yesterday and we leave tomorrow.. how do we only have 7 more days in this country that’s made such an impression on my heart in only 17 days?????
•Just as I am getting comfortable in my little nest, growing in new relationships, loving new people, it’s almost time to go.
•This is going to be 11 months that are just that.. it’s like when you’re all cuddled up on the couch with your blankets and popcorn, ready to watch a movie.. and then you realize you left the light on so you have to get up.
•God didn’t call me to this so I could be comfortable..
•Prayer isn’t something we just do to ask and see if God provides.. we are to “ask in faith with no doubting”– we are praying and believing God will bring hope and faith to Kosovo.
•My job is to be intentional. Be intentional in building relationships. Be intentional in making an impact in people’s lives. Be intentional in inviting Jesus into the conversation. Be intentional with your words as well as your actions. Be intentional and be present.
•I was in an 1800 year old castle today in Prizren, Kosovo today and it was magnificent… How is this real life right now?!
As we enter into our last week in Kosovo, join me in prayer for this Country. But when you pray, believe with me that revival is coming. Earlier during the week we were worshipping and the Lord said to me “I am the Lord of lords, the King of kings, the Warrior of all warriors. I’ve already won not only the battle but the final war. My people are my people. Why would you think that ISIS or any other “army” can even come close to taking what is mine?”
He reminded me of Joshua 1:3 “Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given to you, just as I promised to Moses.” — I’m just saying, we’ve walked up and down these streets too many times to count.
