This week’s blog is going to be a little different. Today I am going to introduce you to my team, Team Hope.
Our Team consists of six team members, including myself, and one alumni team leader. We live together, we do ministry together, we grow together and we love together. These are the girls who have been surrounding me in love and challenging me in faith since we have been placed in a team together at training camp.
The past couple of weeks we have been learning what community looks like and how to grow in your walk with the Lord through that community.
I have been placed in a team of the most genuine girls you will ever meet. We laugh and cry together. We do chores together. We scream Christmas songs in the middle of washing dishes and play “make it or break it” every day during ministry.
It’s my pleasure to introduce my family for the next nine months, Team Hope!
SJ
SJ is full of wisdom and has the best whip you will ever see. She is our team treasurer and she holds the responsibility of that with such grace and honor. A quiet exterior with a passionate soul, SJ is one of the most caring people I have ever met. She is strong in her walk with the Lord, and her intentionality in pursuing the Lord is inspiring. Her calm spirit is always comforting. Also, she makes a mean fried egg.
Cacti shirts, ironic peace signs, “Cheers!” and lots of love fill this woman up and I am so thankful to know her.
Selina
Ask Selina to do any dance move and she will do it with her whole heart. Even if you don’t ask her to do it, she’s always somewhere doing it anyways. Her radiant smile shares the love of God just when she flashes it. She is the most caring and loving soul and will challenge you daily on how you can think in Kingdom perspective. She is passionate and hilarious, a mixture perfectly hand-crafted by the Lord. She loves my laugh and NEVER lets me forget that.
Cheerful smiles, interesting dance moves, a radiant personality, and loads of wisdom fill this woman up and I am so thankful to know her.
Madison
One of the sweetest souls you will ever meet with an infectious smile, Madison is full of LIFE! She knows how to care, and she does it really well. Madison is a joyful worker and that joy pours out onto our team. Thankful the Lord has given her a spirit of giving and love. If you need to listen to some good music, just give this gal a call. Also, she has the most movies which have made our free time filled with laughs and cheer.
Her faithful Kavu bag, loving smile, fun fashion and a spirit of beaming light from the Father fill this woman up and I am so thankful to know her.
Kenzie
Kenzie is a soft spirit on fire for the Lord. She is quiet, but her loving is LOUD. She is sweet, passionate, and has a heart that is always seeking the Lord. Kenzie has allowed us into her life with such trust and through that, we get to see how much she is growing. She is excited about the future and that excitement of the Lord’s promises is infectious. She also loves peanut butter and is so gracious to share her jar with us.
Loving smiles, a passionate soul, a sweet laugh and a golden heart fill this woman up and I am so thankful to know her.
Allyson
This girl has SPUNK but in the best way possible. She is the #1 storyteller and adds life and fun to any situation. Allyson is someone who makes you feel good. She can make you laugh in a heartbeat but is also so intentional in her pursuit of a relationship with you. She’s not just fun and games, but she has a serious passion for the Lord. The Lord gave her a spirit of fun and she displays it in the best way possible. Ask her about her family if you want to see her glow.
Love for steak tacos, her niece and nephew, jokes and a pursuit of the gospel fill this woman up and I am so thankful to know her.
Olivia
Alumni Team Leader (leading us for 3 months on the field)
A woman of God with extreme wisdom. She is a natural born leader, and I am so glad God is allowing me to be led by her. Olivia is an Olympic-level lotion applier with a MAJOR soft spot for the Lord and all of His creation. She is intentional with our hearts. She encourages us to be the best we can be, constantly pointing us higher. Olivia is the kind of friend who radiates positivity in every situation. Oh, and she gives great hugs.
Leadership, extreme friendliness, a knack for eyebrows and overflowing love for creation fills this woman up and I am so thankful to know her.

Life with these ladies is always an adventure. Thanks for edifying me and allowing me to join in each of your lives. I think we all fit pretty well together.
Cheers to living, loving and calling each other higher.
Thankful that family that isn’t just categorized by blood.
