It’s just as complicated, yet just as simple as it seems. To be on the field, and to do what the Lord has called us to do, we have to have a community of supporters. A community of people who intercede for us, with hearts open to the ways the Lord is urging them to help. We need people like you. People who read our blogs, who want to know what is happening on the field, who have been called to the field in a different way than we have. Those who have been called to help send instead of to “go.” The reality is as Christians, we are all called to the field. We are each called to participate in the great commission. Each one of our calls look a little different, but they are all equally important.

For those of us who have been sent directly to foreign countries, our calls mean leaving “normal” life behind. God told us to leave our family, friends, homes, and jobs. This means we need support. We need updates from home, we need FaceTime calls full of laughter with friends and family. We need those we love to intercede on our behalf. All of this can be difficult, but perhaps the scariest part of being called to the mission field is the last part, giving up our jobs. Laying down the ability to provide for ourselves, and trusting God and the body of believers to support us. Trusting that others will believe in the visions the Lord has placed in us enough to open not only their hearts, but also their finances to help us do what God has called us to do. We have to completely let go of any control we once had over our finances and trust fully and completely that $17,017 is pocket change to God, and that he will move in the lives of our supporters to give in order for us to live on the mission field. I trust God. I trust the mission and vision he has placed on my life, and I trust that through the body of believers, my needs will be met. So, if the Lord is calling you to give. To hold on to your money more loosely, and to trust that through giving he will provide, here is how you can help.

Team Themelios has three members that are fully funded!! *insert praise hands here* That means only two of us are still fundraising. My wonderful teammate, Sarah Patty is $1,937 away from being fully funded. I am $542 away from reaching my past due deadline, and $4,559 away from being fully funded. That means the Lord has already provided $78,589 in order for team Themelios to be on the field right now! WHAT!?! That number blows my mind and reminds me that this final $6,496 that we collectively need for our team to be fully funded is nothing but pocket change to God. It is 100% possible through the faithful body of believers like you. My team has a big dream to be fully funded before we leave Vietnam on the 6th of April, though the final deadline is April 30th.

To help achieve this goal, I am beginning a new fundraiser. For any $20 donation given between now and April 6th, I will send you a personalized post card from any country of your choice. 1 postcard = $20, 2 postcards = $40, all the way up to $180 for a postcard from each of our final 9 countries. Let’s join in big prayers for God to move in the hearts of supporters and get team Themelios fully funded by April 6th!

For those of you who have supported me in any way so far, there truly aren’t enough thank you’s to express how appreciative I am that you’ve helped me get this far. Your belief in the mission God has placed on my life is completely humbling. The opportunities to further the kingdom that you’ve allowed me to sieze up to this point blow my mind every day. Thank you for allowing me to be a vessel for the kingdom in this way. I am honored to have your support. I am honored to serve God on the mission field.
