Frequently in life we hear the grass is greener on the other side or you want what you can’t have. I am not sure if it is because I am leaving my home in eleven days to travel to eleven countries for eleven months but home has been looking pretty green. I have always known God blessed me with an incredible family and wonderful friends but this Christmas God opened my eyes and showed me just how blessed I am. God has shined through the people around me brighter than ever lately. From little things to big things God has been the heart of it. God has used the people around me to reveal himself. I have been blessed with so much and I am so appreciative for where I come from and each and everything I have been given. I have been given love, oh so much love. I have been given support when I know it isn’t easy. I have been given encouragement when I am running on empty. I have been given smiles when I am feeling down. I have been given jokes when I need to laugh.  I have been so blessed and have been gifted with so much. It is time for me to go give love, support, encouragement, smiles, and laughter to people who need it most. Christmas isn’t about the presents it is about Jesus and his incredible gift to us. It isn’t about receiving but about giving. Joy doesn’t come in a box tied up in ribbon it comes from the heart. I am ready to give my heart so Jesus can shine brighter than ever through me and bring joy to the nations I will be serving.  Life doesn’t have to be brighter on one side or another, Jesus is everywhere therefore no matter where I am it will be more than bright enough!

I want to thank God and my family and my friends and all my supporters, YOU have made this journey I am about to embark on possible and I hope you continue to partner with me through prayer and by following my blog. Thank you and a very Merry Christmas!
