A little over a week ago my team was told that we would be going to Lithuania to be searching for Unsung Heroes. We didn’t have a place to stay or any idea who we would find or what we would do. God has provided us with an apartment for the month. The empty schedule didn’t last long, we already have a full docket until the day we leave. God has placed some amazing people in our path.

He blessed us with our new friend Almantas who helped us find an apartment, showed us around and made us feel at home in Vilnius. He shared his testimony with us the other night. The entire time he spoke I had goose bumps and felt inspired by his heart for others. We met a woman named Kristina who took us to church. She is also an inspiration. She is currently working as a Psychologist for a crisis center. Although she loves her job the Lord has something else planned for her. She is leaving everything in order to build a home to help woman get out of human trafficking.

We are currently working with another wonderful woman named Kristina and her husband Mindaugas. They devote their lives to Christ by running day centers for children who live in poverty and abusive families. I feel at home, the day center reminds me of where I worked just 4 months ago, Open Door Ministry. Next week my team is in charge of running an Easter program for five day centers filled with children who have never heard of Jesus.

The Lord has blessed us with more than we could have asked for and is continuing to provide. Every day I get phone calls or emails from someone who heard about what we are doing and wants to meet us. Thank you Jesus!
