3 months down, 8 to go. It is crazy how fast the time is going by. I felt like just the other day I was saying goodbye to my family in Atlanta and yet we are starting our fourth month on the World Race. Leaving the Village of Hope was sad. I knew goodbyes would be hard when I signed up for this but that doesn’t make it any easier. The Village of Hope will always have a special place in my heart. My squad and I have been in Riga, Latvia for the past few days for a leadership development training. It was wonderful to be united as a family again. Yesterday four of the teams left Riga and headed for their next destination. My team as well as two other teams are still in Riga, doing Unsung Hero training until Thursday.

This month my team and I will be looking for Unsung Heroes in Lithuania, with the goal of identifying those who build the Kingdom, serve the Lord and serve people but go unnoticed. It is our job to be the eyes and ears and find the Unsung Heroes to partner with. We will be focusing on seeking and bringing awareness to the Unsung Heroes in order to expand and serve more nations.

I am the Unsung Heroes point person for my team, meaning I will be the leader for our team this month. That being said, I need even more prayer support (please and thank you). I need ears to hear and listen to God and who HE wants us to connect with not just those who we can find. I need to be in prayer constantly and be open to the way the Spirit is leading us.

I believe this month my team will be stretched and pushed outside of our comfort zones more than we have been on the race thus far (in a completely different way than we were in Africa). I believe this month we are going to get uncomfortable. I believe this will be an incredible month of growth for my team. I am not sure what exactly this month will look like but we will have to keep open minds and focus on partnering with the Lord and joining alongside with what He is already doing. I am so excited to see what He has in store for us.
