In December, 2012 I graduated with a Masters in Health Care Management and Minor in Nutrition from Metropolitan State University of Denver Colorado. I was the VP of Metros Health Care Management Club and was on the Student Board for the college’s Weight Management program. As you may see, I am a busy bee but now that I have graduated I have a little more free time. I am proud to be a Colorado Native! I am a bit of a health nut, which is why living in Colorado is so great not to mention how stunning it is. I absolutely love hiking, there is no other feeling like sitting on top of a mountain breathing in the fresh air and taking in God’s incredible creation! I am a huge fan of yoga and I love crafting. Traveling is a huge passion of mine, I love experiencing different cultures and learning different ways of life. Although I love being outdoors, following God my family and friends are the most important part of my life! My family and I are very close, and I am so thankful God blessed me with such an amazing family. Now that you know what I do for fun, lets talk about work. I have worked at the Arvada Texas Roadhouse for the past four years as a server and trainer. The roadhouse has been an awesome place to work at, my managers and co-workers have become not only friends but family. For the last year I have been volunteering for Open Doors, an Urban Ministry. I work with the school aged children and although I am tutoring them, I have learned so much from the kids! I have been loving life but I cannot wait for the next chapter, the World Race! I am so excited to meet my team and soon to be family. I am looking forward to seeing what God has in store for me and am ready to be challenged like never before and see the world in a whole new light!
